The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed in regards to the superior number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The support level developed for intervention encounters a substantial influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes status sassa it complicated for that office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to empower the servicing of all consumers and improve entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
